The lead developer expressed confidence in the future of Shiba Inu.
The pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shytoshi Kusama is confident that the crypto project will not lose its hype but says the team is never focused on hype.
For Kusama, Shiba Inu will continue to remain relevant because the team behind the cryptocurrency has never been focused on attracting unnecessary hype.
According to Kusama, the team has focused on creating useful products and platforms to help Shiba Inu grow organically. In recent times, Shiba Inu has been working on collaborating with top companies that have relevant experiences in different aspects of SHIB.
Kusama made this known on Shiba Inu’s official Discord channel, saying:
“I do not think we’ll lose ‘hype.’ We were never focused on hype; we were focused on platforms and products. And now also partnerships.”

Shiba Inu’s Significant Growth Since Inception
Interestingly, Shiba Inu has come a long way since it went live in August 2020. Despite initially launching as a meme-based cryptocurrency, Shiba Inu has been releasing new products and services that are helping it to shred the meme coin title.
Shiba Inu’s popularity spiked massively last year, with many referring to the cryptocurrency as the official Dogecoin killer. At first, many people thought the team’s focus was to create unusual hype via social media campaigns to drive mainstream adoption. But now, people are adopting Shiba Inu based on the projects the team has released and others that are currently being worked on.
At the moment, Shiba Inu has launched its own non-fungible token (NFT) dubbed Shiboshi, metaverse, and decentralized exchange named ShibaSwap. The team is currently working on releasing a Play-to-Earn (P2E) game and a Layer-2 blockchain.
Shiba Inu partnered with top companies for all these projects to ensure they launch successfully. Some of the companies the SHIB team has partnered with include The Third Floor, Unification, etc.
